About
Mark Wilson
Solo web designer. I build exclusively for contractors.
I got into contractor web design because most contractor websites are genuinely bad at the one job they’re supposed to do: get the phone to ring. Flashy agencies charge $3,000 a month for SEO retainers. Templates get your logo swapped in and call it a day. Neither one is built around the way a contractor gets work.
Every site I build follows the same lead-gen structure: phone number up front and click-to-call, reviews visible above the fold, transparent pricing, a booking widget, and a contact form with three fields. Not because it looks good — because it gets calls.
I also build software for contractor businesses, which means I understand how a contracting business actually runs — not just how contractor websites should look.
Why this works
Three things that set this apart.
You only work with contractors.
This isn’t a side niche — it’s the only kind of site I build. Every decision is calibrated to how contractors get work.
Every site follows the same proven structure.
The lead-gen layout is the same across every site because it works. Sticky header with click-to-call. Reviews above the fold. Minimal form. Direct CTA.
You own everything.
Your domain, your hosting, your files. Stated here as part of the story — not buried in the fine print.
Want to see the work or talk it through?
No pitch. Just questions and answers.
